Since 1994 Mega-Pak limited has been trading in
Southern Ireland under the name of DG Packaging. With the
sales office based in the Swords, Co. Dublin we have been
supplying Packaging materials to companies in Dublin, Drogheda, Limerick, Sligo,
Cork as well as other areas in Eire. Specialising mainly in the dangerous goods
market we have steadily grown in size and are able to offer licensed packaging
for the safe transport of Hazardous materials.
One of the largest areas we have been involved in is the supply of packaging
for Diagnostic Specimens and Infectious Substances. In September 2004 we were
awarded a contract for the supply of packaging for all of the hospitals within
the Eastern Health Shared Services area. This project involved the creation of
an easy to use transportation system that could be used for blood and urine collection
and also a multi-purpose system that could transport a multitude of difference
specimen collection systems. The packaging had to go through many stringent tests
to ensure that specimens would arrive at their destination without any breakages
and most importantly ensuring that the couriers and general public are not at
any risk.
Full details of these systems and prices are available by request, but please
find some images below of some of the kits that are available
